Prospective Marriage Visa
This is a temporary visa valid for nine (9) months that allow couples to marry in Australia.
What this visa allows you to do:
- full work and study rights in Australia
- access to Australia’s publicly funded universal health-care system (Medicare).
Visa requirements:
- visa applicants need to be at least 18 years of age
- must meet health requirements
- must meet character requirements
Visa conditions:
- need to be married with the sponsor within nine (9) months from the time of arrival in Australia
- after marriage, must apply for a Partner visa.
